    Is it possible to have a fruit bat as a pet in ireland?

    Which type of fruit bat, there's a few different ones from diff. countries.
    They are a protected species not sure how well protected when it comes to ones bred outside of their native country.

    Imo they should not be kept as pets.

    I love bats but having them as a pet is a big no no . They just dont work as pets.
