Hire a Van and collect it yourself, or try and find someone doing haulage between the UK and Ireland that could just add it onto a truck for a few hundred extra. I see Nolan transport regulary doing the crossing with me on the ferries

I organise stuff from the UK on a daily basis. If you can give me some weights and dimensions I can get you a quote.

If it is on a regular pallet and not crazy heavy then it would be c. €130 + VAT

DHL / UPS FEDEX etc are good for small pacgages needed in ahurry.

Most regular RORO freight companies would see this as no issue whatsoever.

    Hales Freight
    Two Way Aramex
    DSV
    TPN etc etc.

Its no biggie for any of them - just ensure the person sending it knows how to package the machine securely.

Expect to pay €120 - €150 door to door

    Thanks for the mention :)

there's no way I could compete on price for something like this though. My service to the UK would be urgent (same or next day) with customer appointed collection and delivery times and passenger seats if required ;) I like to think of it as a first class service :D

The €120 - €150 prices wouldn't even cover getting to the UK on the ferry for me :(

There's loadsa builders with vans sitting around. No idea of costs, but if ya paid for the ferry and the diesel, I'm sure they would be happy with a few quid!

Nope - wouldn't be worth it

    Example
Diesel cost to birmingham & back - €80
    Ferry Cost - €200
    Time cost - €150
    Total €430 - totally uneconomical.

Using commercial door to door freight company - €120 average
