    Heading to Zurich pretty soon.
Anyone any idea what the cost of living is like over there?

What would you expect to pay for say a bottle of coke, cup of coffee etc
    Supermarket prices?

Prices for food are generally slightly higher (for meat MUCH higher, i.e. twice the amount). Generally think M&S food... good quality but you pay for it. You can check out prices of the two main supermarkets of Migros (LeShop) or Coop
    Alcohol is cheaper though.

Coke 6x1.5L would go for about 13CHF (9.70 Euro, or 1.60 per bottle (1.5L!))
coffee.. wouldn't know exactly, but slightly cheaper than Dublin (2.50 to 3 CHF IIRC)

If you are moving to Switzerland, you might also check out www.englishforum.ch, it's quite similar to boards.ie but focuses on Switzerland (and all it's habits...) tons of information on there....
