I can't ever seem to find that price in aerlingus.ie

I always get around 360 euros one way.

Dublin to New York from €229.00

    How to get this fare

Travel period from 01 November 2010 until 31 March 2011 Terms and conditions This fare is each-way, must be purchased as part of a return trip and includes taxes & charges. Subject to availability.
    Searched 15/11/10-22/11/10 myself

    Came up with €465.39

    divided by 2 = 232.70

Not far off €229 As usual with these offers it is date dependent if you dug a little deeper you will prolly find some dates at the listed price. These price do exist but are will have limits on availabilty.

In this case I believe the offer is genuine. Also not conditions usch as the offer applying to a return flight. If you book the flights seperstely you may come up with higher prices.

Am I wrong in thinking it is €229 to and from New York, DBN to JFK and JFK to DBN, including taxes and charges?

Yes. €229 will get you there, but you'll have to give them anither €229 to get home! Its not that great an offer to be honest - shop around.

Aer Lingus never seem to come up cheapest for me when booking TA flights anymore, and the prices for their United/JB connections are often way out of line with the likes of Delta and Continental.
