I got the e-mail from 02 confirming my unlock. I've backed up my phone and synced in iTunes but didn't get any confirmation message that my unlock was successful. Do I have to upgrade to iTunes version 4 before this can happen or should it work on my current version 3.0.1? or am I doing something wrong?

you have to connect it with a different sim in your iphone!

That's not what is says in the unlocking forum! It says "confirmation of unlocking will be provided when the handset is synced and Apple have completed their steps". Then it says "you can now disconnect the handset from iTunes, insert your new SIM into the handset and then run the restore function"

You have to put in a sim from another network .

Fair enough so. Bit misleading though! I'm downloading version 4 anyway. Takes ages!
