Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know about Waterford Aero Club's 2010 Mid-Day BBQ and Fly-In, taking place on July 17th! thumbs.gif

The BBQ begins at noon and aircraft are welcome all day Saturday. In fact, if you want to arrive on Friday, we'll be delighted to welcome you then too!

Waterford Airport has waivered the Landing Fees again this year, so the event will be completely free. Please bring your own alcoholic beverages. Camping is permitted beside your aircraft on the club's ground. Just like last year, there will be prizes awarded for things like furthest travelled and most accurate ETA. More information regarding the competitions and prizes will be released closer to the fly-in date.

    - To register for the event and to be part of the competition please register by clicking the following link: http://waterfordaeroclub.com/flyin.html

Both this topic and the website event page (http://waterfordaeroclub.com/fly-in.html) will be updated as and when further information and details become available. We will be releasing a info flyer soon listing car hire and accomodation for overnighters at the event. Check back regularly!

So to everyone, please come along, enjoy the beautiful sunny South East of Ireland - enjoy the craic, the music and the food, and talk aviation!

    Please note...
Waterford Airport Is PPR and a flight plan is also Mandatory. Before takeoff, please ensure that you have filed a flight plan and contacted Waterford Aiport on 00353 (0) 51-875589
