problem with jailbroken phone - what are my options?

    My iphone is 3.1.2 and jailbroken (blackra1n)

    Blackra1n is used to start the phone, it comes on but hangs for about 10min. Then loops back for a reboot.

    I then tried to upgrade my phone to 4.0 but apple servers couldn't verify the phone.

    What options have I? The phone has important numbers on it that are being used for my upcoming wedding next week. Any ideas?

    The phone is insured.
