Well that must be the case, otherwise parents up and down the land are being very careless when it comes to their children's lives.

Cars should stop when you push a buggy out in front of them, but it might not always happen. Why take the chance?

Assuming others have eyes on the back of their heads in supermarkets is also a bad idea.

If you can make the time to create a life, you should make the time to look after it.

Parents who push buggies/prams out in front of traffic should be thrown in prison for attempted murder. Unless, of course, the kid's buggy is a mini military tank, in which case they should punished for damaging other vehicles with the kid's tank.

Some people it just happens that they got pregnent, wife watching telly drinking Dutch Gold bag of chips in hand husband comes home falls on top and a few sips of Dutch Gold later and an ad break hey baby on the way, husband falls asleep on floor, wife pulls up trackies continue as before.

I do this all the time.
