Best of USA Marketing presents: Operation Irene VIII, October 29-31, 2010
The setting is the Zussman Urban Combat Training Center at Ft. Knox, KY, the premier US Army MOUT site in the US. Will the conflict end the same, or will the Warlord be captured and his forces defeated this time? Can YOU can make a difference in the battle?

[Poster adds: Zussman is about the same size as Senny, with much more SFX and more pyro. Last year they had 1000+ players. Wouldn't it be lovely to alternate between this and Berget?]

    Umm, so it is. Damn.

OLCMSS do some events on non-military sites for that very reason. I have asked them previously to indicate whether an event is open to 'aliens' (because there are people here that want to travel to them), but I forgot about it this time. I'll post up the next one that's open.

(Edit: the reason is that non-citizens must be accompanied by a military person on a US Mil base)

The only exemption to non-US citizens is green-card holders, who are permitted if I recall from discussion of Op. Irene III (or was it IV?)

Yep. Still a feckin' nuisance though, and may or may not apply to Zussman.

I think Northern Light in September is open to non-residents, Bull Dog in October is in Ft Hood TX (yes, that one) so it isn't. :(

The videos for the first few of these made me fall in Love with Airsoft, it's a life goal to get to one of them.

Just need a lot of money, and not be involved in genocide between the years 1939 and 1945, not be travelling to the states to commit acts of terrorism, and what ever the other stupid questions on the green card are.

Don't forget denial of ownership of any moon based death rays for which one plans to blackmail the united nations for one hundred billion dollars.
