Only this time the price drifted!!!. I looked for opinions on NAPA STARR a couple of days ago. No one shared any with me , so I decided to keep faith in this horse and Berry did a great job on him tonight. Drifted from 9-4 to 9-2. Had a good bet and happy days. He"s carrying a huge hike in weight this year, I wonder when…

He"s carrying a huge hike in weight this year, I wonder when the handicapper will anchor him??Fair play to Byrnes, he must be a genius at picking the right races for his stable.

I'd say the drift was mainly to do with the track being considered less suitable than his previous win in Navan. Leopardstown is a tough track to come from behind and Napa Star is often well behind 3f out. There was also some decent support for other horses in the race.
