I would appreciate if you can check out my pictures and tell me what you think of it, I am new to photography and am eager to learn and would like some constructive critism.

I own a canon 500d, I currently use a 80-200mm canon ef lens, the kit lens and also the canon 50mm f1.8.

    Here is a link :

You should really post them in the main forum and ask for C&C.
This is the challenge sub forum and not too many come in here apart from the "challenged" :)

Anyway for what it''s worth I'm not overly fond of pics of flowers or animals.
The two of the cat and the goat are not sharp - the eyes must be sharp. The cat is taken from an upright position - get down level with it and then shoot.
The queen bee is nice and colourful but the bee is lost in the foliage of the plant. Either get in closer or crop out the waffle.
The field of gold has no point of interest, it's just too busy. Pick out one stalk, open wide and focus on it leaving the rest out of focus. The grass field works much better because that's what you did there.
Flip the self portrait horizontal so you can read the camera name - after all it is a Canon :)

Good luck with the shooting and keep it up.
