It's difficult to make out from the website what exact service you offer? The business and personal sections seem the same?

It mentions user-appropriate solutions and a framework? Is there some examples of this framework or some kind of demonstration?

Maybe I'm just not knowledgeable enough about this area, but to someone like me it's very difficult to make out what this is about. Some examples of what you do on the website would definitely help.

out of interest why does a business need to pay another business to show them how to use twitter, facebook etc??

    "@gmail.com"
    "086-xxxxxxxx"

If you want your business to be taken seriously then you need to resolve those 3 things above. It doesn't bode well for a social media company when you can't get your own domain.

There's also the fact that lots/most of small businesses won't know any better either.

I see that the nunce that made the first posting about 'social media' in a forum that would be considered in the realms of 'social media' has high tailed it out of here and deleted the post.
Just so we can still all admire their great work the company is called bright spark (jeeese louise)

    Hi Everyone,

Just reading down through the posts here. I appreciate all the feedback...
We have taken on board the criticisms below, particularly around the domain name, email, phone number etc. (which we have registered etc. and are awaiting activation). Unfortunately this is a lengthy processes taking 4-5 weeks which we only got news of yesterday. Thus we expected that we might mitigate some of the shortcomings mentioned much sooner.

    Thanks all..

Well, fair play for putting your hand up. Personally, I would have left the original post intact but your call.

Good edit on the Twitter bio too :)

One thing I'd definitely change is put a real name and photo to your business profile. People like to know who they're talking to.

Agreed Trojan, as a start-up we clearly have alot to learn here and this feedback is all very useful. We certainly did not expect the registrations process to take as long as it did (it will still be another 4 weeks at least before we can activate the .ie domain). This was a real suprise for us... Thus we felt that pulling down the original post above until we have the i.e domain name, landline etc in order was the best idea.

Another useful piece of feedback was that it was unclear what our value proposition is. Has anyone commentary around that?

That's very strange that it will take so long. Is this due there being an issue over rights to the domain? To be honest, I would choose a complete different name.

Even in Ireland this namespace is very busy with existing companies:

    brightspark-consulting.com - almost direct competitor
    brightspark.ie - event management
    brite-sparks.ie - supply chain management

Yes, the Company Registrations Office said that they have the process down to 4 or 5 weeks now which was a better turnaround than they had been managing to date. Which is a little offputting, seeing as there are now so many start-ups trying to get going quickly...

Would buying a .com domain be quicker do you know??

Is it difficult to assess your value proposition without knowing what you do. Your description on the website is a bunch of buzzwords. You say you use some kind of framework? It is difficult to assess how useful this is if we don't know what it is or what it does.

The website just comes across as a amateur in it's development but moreso in it's content and language. The About Us and Services sections make no sense whatsoever.

I would give a clear and concise description of what you do as well as examples/demos if you want people to consider whatever it is this service is.

Thanks for that Jimmy, we are revamping the website now. You make a good point about exibiting examples of our work which we have taken on board and are revising accordingly. We will post again when we have these parts ironed out and would appreciate your feedback again?

Buying a .com would be infinitely quicker - but I'd recommend you spend some time on deciding on some alternative names.

I would take down that site asap and wait until you get a proper domain and a proper site.
I have absolutly no confidence in someone who is proclaiming all sorts about social media and yet their site is a rubbish cheap site builder effort.
