In no way am i a movie snob i enjoyed the first scary movie and dont be a menace.
But that genre of movie stopped being funny, not that it ever really was i suppose.

I despise twilight, but i despise these types of movies more.......rehashing scenes from popular movies is not parody it's lazy, go watch The Naked Gun, Airplane or Hot Shots to see how it's done right.

tbh, that statement means that you're a troll, a 12-year-old with an IQ in single figures or you simply have no concept of wit of humour.

The spoof as a comedic genre is rich with examples of films which manage to successfully mock more serious fodder while at the same time bring something new to the table. Vampires Suck appears for all intents and purposes to be not so much a spoof as a 2 dollar remake of Twilight utilising the same scenes and dialogue only delivered with lesser actors (if that's possible).

Couple of half decent gags in that trailer. Alas, a five minute sketch would probably have been more suitable than an hour + film.

I didn't realise that posting in threads stated by a user was considered stalking.

something just struck me about the trailer, why bother spoofing the Twilight franchise when the franchise all ready feels like a spoof. It was playing in Xtravision the other day and some of the scenes, the one where teh guys gets sick during an R rated action film felt like they belong in Scary Move 12.

That's an actual scene from the film, I remember sitting in the cinema on one of my first dates with my girlfriend and that scene came on, I was convinced that the film was supposed to be a comedy or someone had slipped some pages from the porn version into the script.

^ to put it in true context, he's a vampire...Bella has this unique smell that attracts him/wants to bite her neck off....like pheromones for vampires, she was a juicy meal to him. He walked out as the urge was too powerful for him.

I love spoof movies, but the good ones,Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Top Secret, Airplane etc. The Epic/Date/Scary movie franchise needs to fcuk off, the guys who writeand direct them are easily the most talentless duo working on hollywood, they make Jedward look like Martin Scorcese.

Quite simply, Leslie Nielsen is, on his day, the best deliverer of a one liner/pun in the business.

Just watched the movie, it was really rather poor...few laughs to be had, but Jenn Proske did a great spoof/acting like Bella/Stewart. Pushing her hair behind the ear, the facial expressions...lol, it was fun seeing her copy/rip the piss outta Kristen.

The movie sucks, but i could totally see Proske on The Vampire Diaries or something.
