New Iphone - connection problem

    OK so I got an Iphone there last week and Im not very good when it comes to certain technical tasks but im managing. However Im stumped when it comes to connecting to the internet and downloading apps.

    I have no wifi connection anywhere near where I live and was wondering is it possible to connect to the internet. I persume it is but am not able to figure it out. If There is a way does it cost much (Im on pay as you go) and if you download apps etc do they work offline (eg Maps).

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    you need the APN settings for your network.
    also data is very expensive, you better get a data add on if possible!
    theres no way i would run aan iPhone or any smart phone long term on PAYG with no data add on.

    check out the sticky at the top of the page, it has all the apn settings for all the networks.
