Internet dating question

    Hey Guys,

    After giving myself alot of time after a bad breakup. I have been feeling like its defo time to get back on the wagon again and see whats out there.

    I have lots of friends and go out quite a bit but kind of tired as you may all know of the drunkin banter in pubs

    I joined a dating site and started chatting to this guy and he seemed really nice so i gave him my phonenumber - said why not..
    He tells me hes not looking for just hanky panky etc and has asked me out the weekend. He is very keen in terms of texting and calls like over keen..... is this normal... im worried about it as he seems to be putting in the bit of EXTRA effort then guys generally do.. Dont take offence to this boys..

    I only started chatting to him a few days back

    what do yas think.. any experience with these kinda eager beavers?

    Hey OP,
    I say go on the date. See how you get on. Probably best not to give him your address or a spare key or anything on the first date!!! But give him a chance. He might be a lovely guy, who genuinely wants to meet somebody nice. Maybe he thinks hes doing the right thing, as far as the calls and texts are concerned. Maybe if he was less inclined to contact you, you'd be posting asking if its going to be a waste of time?
    Give it a shot, and if you dont like him, walk away and put it down to experience.
    After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained:).

    Ive talked to women that have used dating sites.. They seem to be heavily loaded with middle aged married men looking for a "bit on the side" so my advice is to be mindful of this, and try to establish as early as you can if they are infact married or not.
