zafira diesel

hi guys and gall,s,,i know of a guy who wants a zafira diesel, 03 or 04. he cant get on in galway, he has searched webbsits and local garages. he knows its hard to get one thats diesel. he has the cash for it . so if any of you know of where to get one post here. thanks.

The uk ones are a better spec if he was willing to travel but the way the currency is now it would hardly pay ya.

The newer 06-on Zaffies are a nicer car than the older model. Plus I think the diesels start at 1.7, which will make them cheaper to tax than the older one too, but produce similar amounts of power. The old 2litre isn't the hottest engine reliability-wise, and a few things do go wrong with them.

06 onwards Zafira only came in 1.9 diesel afaik, which is a Fiat engine and one of the best in it's class.

The 1.9 diesel is a gem alright with plenty of poke.

I know the Astra H on which the newer Zaffie is based has an Isuzu based 1.7 common railer, and that in the UK the Vauxhall Zaffies were sold with that engine from the start. It'd be a pity if it weren't available here in the earlier models. Either way, you might be right
