    Stumbled accross this....
    http://www.caireland.org/our_campaigns/rural_livelihoods_campaigns/Are_You_Tick_Aware?/

Feck it, and here I was lying down in the tall grasses waitin on a magpie oblivious to the dangers lurking around in our fields.

Lived in the country all my life, this is the real time of year for ticks.

Got one on my eye lid when I was a kid, not nice !

Went on a scout camp when I was about 12 and we spent a week camped in a field that had been recently vacated by a flock of sheep. We all ended up covered in ticks and about half of us got ringworm too:eek: I think the liklihood of picking up unwanted passengers increases when livestock are using the same area.
