DJ pulls out 3 weeks before the wedding

Well, our DJ has just announced that he's moving so won't be able to do the wedding.

We choose him cos he'd a professional online presence and more importantly had done a wedding of a girl we know. They were very impressed with him.

But he's now out of the picture and has lined up a replacement - who we know nothing about and can only find one on-line reference for. From a wedding review on weddingsonline.ie which says he turned up on the day of the wedding without the agreed playlist and the groom and best man were forced to scramble to get it for him.

Not a good sign. And we've just over two weeks to sort this out.

We used Star DJs for our wedding. More expensive than if we'd had the band to do it but worth every cent. I still have the guy's mobile if it's any use to you.

Do the T&C's you agreed to state the you have to take his replacement? If not, I'd be looking for my money back and booking a new DJ.

Make sure to give him a good review for his helpful attitude

Hi athtrasna, how much did they cost you?

We've got a band lined up so the dj would be for after that (approx 3/3.5 hours).

Any recommendations from here? (for Dublin)
