Quick help with buying a laptop

    Ok i know a little about Pcs and laptops,

    At the moment what i know is my Fianceés lappy is on its last legs,

    I found this for €288

    She just needs it for College work and maybe playing the sims 3/aion and watching anime online

    With these specs is it a good deal?

    It's not going to run any games at all, it would struggle with anything in the last 6/7 years imo.

    I just got my netbook to run Medal of Honour allied assault...it was released in 2003!

    you could get a proper 15inch laptop 4 360euro approx, maybe centrino single core cpu 2gigram ,160gb disk.HARVEY norman advertised a sale laptops 360euro, i ,m not sure is it still on.NETBOOKS are not designed for gaming .
    in the april sale toshiba laptop celeron dvdrw,windows 7 was 439euro.OR LOOK on dell.ie laptops.
