There's nothing on for the rest of the summer unless your into the likes of indiependence, knockanstockan and castlepalooza which aren't my kettle of fish as the music is almost solely rock etc.

If you're prepared to go to a festival with little or no electronic music then have a look at them three, im sure they're good fun.

Electric Picnic in September. I have been told by anyone who's been it's great. Bit pricey but sure nothing is cheap here.

Has comedy, cinema, theatre, music, everything really (or so am told).

Never been but thinking of coming out of my Irish Festival retirement to go to it. Haven't been to anything here since GG in Mullingar in 06 or something. Reunion on the cards, of sorts :)

If you can afford it, go to Electric Picnic. Went to Oxegen twice, and the second year I went to Picnic. I haven't been back to Oxegen and I've been to Picnic every year since. There's no comparison. It's great for dance too, there's a dance tent, and another big tent that also has dance acts half the time, and along with that there's an Arcadia stage, (last year Splitloop, Arveene and a load of heads played on), there's a psytrance/techno rave in the woods until about 10am in the morning every night, and just in general it's a brilliant festival.

I havent heard of it but given that it's in Clare, if its anything like Cois Fharraige, half of Moyross will be in attendance.

It was great for Dance, back when there was the Bodytonic village. Now there's far less dance, but still some decent stuff.

I must check out the psytrance this year, I didnt catch any of it last year because I was working.

Bump - two days of pure dance music down in Limerick

Pretty strong DnB lineup - Marcus Intallex and Rockwell headlining on Sunday, Bonz and myself back to back finishing things off on Saturday

Ah in fairness Bodytonic got ****ed over with that village, I mean they had Diplo playing, and were a good 10 minute walk from the main arena. It's still great for dance, I've seen people like Orbital, Underworld, and Tiga there without the dance village.

Not sure of the time yet cos I'm playing a show at Knockanstockan the same weekend but I'll also be doing an ambient performance of Aussie sounds and spacey synths some point of the weekend at Bump.

obMurtagh: I'm getting too old for this sh1t :p
