    Thought this might be a good idea for a sticky, since there seems to be a lot of people moving here lately. Would be a good place for newcomers to ask questions and for those to be answered. Least that way you could have one thread covering all of them.

    For those thinking of moving or are in the process of it, check out daft.ie or the Galway Advertiser for listings. The advertiser gets updated every Wednesday from 3PM online and the paper itself gets released on the Thursday.

    If you are looking to take part in any activities, there is a book club that meets every other Tuesday, which you can find more information here. Alternatively anyone interested in movies can come along to the Cinema Club, which will be first held on the 13th of July (Tuesday) and then taking place every two weeks. More information can be found here.

    If you have any questions regarding your move, where you want to move or anything like that, feel free to ask them here.
