I recognise that tune!

I heard a song today I hadn't heard before called 'Make Me Better' by Fabolous and Ne-Yo (not my sort of music really) but I felt it had a very Lost-esque sound to it. Have a listen and tell me if you hear it too (the opening seconds has the tune I'm talking about):

So anyway I went on Wiki and found out that:

The strings are sampled from Sherine's "Al Sa'ban Aleh". A similar sample was used both by the RZA on Raekwon's 1995 track "Rainy Dayz" and by Funkmaster Flex for the Busta Rhymes freestyle on The Mix Tape Volume 1: 60 Minutes of Funk.

There was me wondering if it had been sampled by Giacchino. Anyone else think it's very similar to Lost's score? Or am I alone on this one? :cool:

I'm getting it too.. I actually know the tune but haven't a clue what its called.. might look for it later.

Something tells me it's from season 1 anyway

I believe what you are referring to is a piece of music from Season 1. I think it was played first when everyone was sitting on the beach on the first night after the crash.

It's titled "Credit Where Credit is Due"

Yeah, that sounds like it alright. Although I think it actually played over the opening credits, hence the title.

Yeah that must be the tune I was thinking of. Was there ever a quicker version of that? I thought there was a faster version of it used at some stage in one of the later seasons but maybe not.
