    Is the Panasonic TM700 camcorder the best prosumer camera available below 1200 quid?

    It would be yes, however there are different variations of that camera, too - (I was recently looking at the HDC-4S700)

    Yeah I know, its the 3mos chips and the 1080p 50p mode, plus the extended 18x zoom! That caught my eye!

    Not to mention on some models, there is a built in 240GB HDD, that still has SDXC Support. :)

    True, true, but I'm not able to be swapping cards constantly during a match :P

    But I also mightn't even be going with this, going more for the bigger ones in the panasonic range :D
