I don't personally know of anyone but you won't be ruled out if you're a bit older. If you're experience and grades are good enough then you'd have as good a chance as anyone one else. Good luck with it all!

Not technically the same, but I did a part time masters while working full time @ 26/27, and got offers from 2 of the big 4 after graduating. Ernst and Young and Deloitte. In fact because of my previous work experience Deloitte wanted to hire me directly as a "second year" graduate. So, it can be done. I didn't take either offer in the end, for unrelated reasons, but Deloitte seemed very keen with regards to previous work experience. If you are up against a nervous 21 year old straight from college there are certain advantages to being older and displaying more cop on. It depends I suppose on the hiring manager the team/service you are going for. The service line I went for was Consulting / Advisory.

    Other notes -

Accenture & a few other small accountancy firms also offered me interviews for their grad programs.

I found out from a mate, that KPMG turned down my application at the first stage because of my Leaving Cert results! from 10 years ago!
