STAY AWAY FROM SHAREWATCH!!! They should be taken off the market!!!

4 weeks ago they sold my shares without my authorization. Since then they are not returning my calls and each time i ring they are keep saying that someone is looking into this and they will call me back later on that day. They are keep laying just to get me off the line!!! This is going on for 4 weeks now and nothing has been done so far.

I opted for taking the BOI right issue shares priced 0.55. I have transfered monies got my shares and two days later I am getting a letter that my shares have been sold for 0.18.

I should read more posts before i have decided who should I go for... but i would never expect such a mess and an appalling service...

Far from professional service that you would expect from a trader!

Contact the financial ombudsman or the office of the financial regulator.

    Good luck.

Many thanks Pocket. This seems to be the only solution at this stage....

I also have a case open with the financial regulator regarding their poor service.

An appalling, appalling, amateur company with an it infrastructure of the 70's

    +1 on the stay clear

Are you sure that taking up the RI at 55c did not cost you 18(I though 17c)
and it is turned to new shares you have.

Anyway I never had an account with them and never would.
There is no good reason to us then.
    IMO.

I think nearly all if not all their clients are small which puts it down to they just don't care.

But I don't beleave the shares were sold for 18c.

Is it posable they sold your rights for 18c.

I'd agree, it has to be the RI shares they sold.

Maybe they just dont care about small clients with no influence - it is the financial markets were speaking of after all?

My portfolio with them WAS sitting on a 6 figure sum. I don't know about you but that's big to me ;)

It should not really matter what amount you are trading at. There is no excuse for simply being a bad and incompetent company. Every one has the right to trade on the “financial market” and companies like sharewatch were created to trade on your behalf and they are obligated by law to do so.

DODD, they sold them before their price was amalgamated with the price of std. shares...

How long is that taking you know? Did you get any satisfaction from FR? any light in the tunel? thanks

Are you sure you transferred the money to them in time? Did you transfer the correct amount of money over? Did you specifically tell them that you wished to take up the right issue?

Yep, all done on time... buying RI went fine - i had my shares on my account ... only after that someone decided to mess around and sell them.
