    http://www.vodafone.ie/iphone/paymonthly

Im already a voda customer I have an e71 on bill pay.

The voda people said the 16GB 3GS phone is fine.

If abroad are the downloads charged at a "roaming" rate?

    Thanks

Had no idea there was another newer / better one on the way.

A life without boards.ie would be a dark place with me on an outdated phone.

    Thanks all.

Expect the Iphone 4 in August in Ireland - surely you can wait that long? There is nothing worse than buying something and then a few weeks later a newer model comes out at the same price (or lower!).

Ive waited all my life (never owned one) so a few more weeks wont hurt.

Just a quick fyi, the Dublin footballers have been offered special Vodafone deals as they are the new county sponsors and Vodafone told them they would have iphone 4 in the last week of August at the very earliest.

I'm not with Vodafone, I'm with 02. But I would switch damn quick if I didn't get charged ridiculous amounts for data when abroad. Are you sure he is "fine" on the iphone plan when abroad?
