Looking to get free view

    Hi i want to use free view rather then pay for muli room from sky

    Im in dundalk go im close to the north and was hopeing on picking up free view

    Does any one no if free view can be picked up in dundalk and what is the best aerial and set top box for my needs was looking in argos but not sure wht aerial i would need i wold lke one i can just put in the attic as i dont want to start climing on the roof

    Looks like a very strong aerial is required with probably some amplification. Remember at DSO in 2 years Divis (main transmitter for DTT In NI) will be juiced up considerably so if you're willing to be patient you'll not need to spend so much money as you might now to get a decent picture. Freesat (no subscription) should guarantee crystal clear pictures and might be a viable alternative as it covers most of the channels on Freeview ( exceptions e.g. Fiver and its associates) and some that aren't on Freeview.
