    Hi,

I've been weight training in the gym for the last two years but am trying to set up a couple of sessions with a personal trainer to ensure what I'm doing is the right routine for what I want out of it etc..

I'm based in dublin and would appreciate it if anybody could recommend a personal trainer that would know a lot about weight lifting firstly, and combining that with a general level of fitness.

    Thanks

    Hi Shelly

I would say you should have a word with one of the guys that posts here, his forum name is "Transform".

You can read his blog here http://thetransformationcatalyst.wordpress.com/

You can see some of his female clients training routines here http://thetransformationcatalyst.wordpress.com/category/amazing-transformations/

Also g'em one of our Fitness Forum moderators has started to run weightlifting workshops for ladies in RAW Gym in South Richmond St, Dublin.

You can read more about it here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055954752

The first one was a couple of weeks ago and the feedback g'em received was really positive. I think the next one is booked out, as I believe it is limited to 12 places. But if you drop g'em a PM or keep an eye in the ladies lounge, you will see when she schedules the next one. I would really recommend this.

Also g'em lifts competitively, and seeing her will dispel any thoughts you might have about women getting huge from lifting heavy weights as she is in excellent shape.

    Best Regards,

    M

There's another guy that posts here on boards as well, JayRoc.

He's a PT, has competed competitively in powerlifting competitions and knows his stuff.

you could drop him a PM

    I'd second Dominic aka Transform.

What are you trying to achieve, btw?
