Third Party Chargers

Has anyone had experience with unofficial/unbranded chargers for their battery packs? I have six packs that I bring to most games I cover I was checking prices on the Nikon MH-19 dual charger to speed things up since I only have a single charger to cover all six packs, which usually results in me spending half a day waiting on each pack to charge the day before.
The problem is, the MH-19 is €300 (although it can be gotten for about €150 online), and there seems to be a rather large amount of spurious alternatives for considerably less.

I'd rather not make muck of the packs I have with poor/unregulated chargers, but if anyone has favourable reports on any of them, I'd be interested to hear them. If not, I'll have to splash out on the MH-19.

I use a spurious charger and EN-EL4 battery for my D700 without any problems.

You could try a Hahnel Twin V Pro which will charge both batteries at the same time. I have the Canon version and it's a godsend - will fully charge two LP-E6 batteries almost as quickly as the original from Canon will charge one.

Plus it works off a car charger, will take an absolute hammering, and Hahnel are an Irish company (based in Cork).

Good call. I'll have to investigate getting one of those and check the prices.
