Are there any VW specialists in the Dublin area? I used to use Awesome GTI in Manchester and would prefer someone like that to service my tuned golf.

I would recommend someone in Portlaoise if you are willing to travel?

What is done to your golf?

Thanks but dont want to drive that far really.

I is a 2001 1.8t with APR remap, stainless exhaust, filter, suspension, and brakes upgraded.

    Produces about 215 bhp

What kind of work do you want done? As I just said in another thread - you don't need a specialist for a golf. Especially if it's just a regular service.

Yes, just a small service, oil change etc. Just wanted a specialist to get someone who cared for the car like I do.

Don't be naive, even a specialist wont care for your car like you do. They'll just charge you more because of the word 'specialist'. I'll PM you someone's number.

    Similar to my own.

Join vagdrivers and ask the same question, there will be one person recommended, he looks after my car and many others like it. He is a huge vw enthusiast and knows these cars inside out.

+1 on Portlaoise,i've a highly tuned Bora and he's the only guy in the county i'd let near it,he will service your car like its his own, knows VWs inside out esp the 1.8T engine and won't charge you silly 'specialist' rates like Awesome GTI,plus it isn't that far now M-way the whole way.
