What is Malta like for girls in their early 20's??

    Hi!

My friend wants to go to Malta for 10 days in August cos she found cheapish flights with Ryanair. We're a group of 4 or so 23 year old girls. I'm concerned that it is a bit of an older persons/ couple place and there won't be much to do besides sight see and sunbathe. Has anyone been there who is around our age and can give advice? I have heard mixed reports so far from friends of friends.

I for one love waterparks and stuff to do like that as well as sunbathing. It would be nice if there was a bit of nightlife too.

Would love some help - really appreciated!!

Or if anyone can suggest somewhere hot, beautiful, not over priced with a few things to do!

    :)

the nightlife is basically one street in st julians (paceville), there is quite a few bars/clubs in that area

you guys might be a bit bored spending 10 days there though, malta is nice but it wouldn't be exactly what you are looking for imo, valetta is extremely quiet after 6pm, the other villages/towns are quiet even during the day

My best advice is DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an awful place. The food is rotten, there is nothing at all worth sight seeing and it's full to the brim with 60 yr old Brits complaining about the tea.

Malta makes Dundalk seem kind of cutesy and interesting.

    Avoid.
