    Hi all,

I am looking for a panel Beater / sprayer in the Dublin area who will repair the rear arches on my 318 and paint the two sides, I am looking for someone who will do a good job as i am a bit fussy when it comes to my car.

    I've used these guys before - http://www.gerrymaguire.com/

They did a great job on my Merc, would definitely recommend them.

+1 recommendation for gerry maguire - my old job used to get them to do repairs regularly and they were always spot on - very good quality and reasonable rates .

...don't do what i did - on a budget so got paint on 2 panels repaired in airside swords because they quoted a slightly lower price than other estimates that i got. turned out the colour matching / blending was awful and needs to be painted again....so false economy - should have paid an extra ton to have it done right by sum1 with experience and who knows what they're doing.

Austin Hill Motors near Blackrock DART station did a great job for me a couple of years back.

Reasonably pricey but he had to mix paint from scratch to match a unknown respray colour. Worth a call.

I know how you feel! I got a job done on one of my cars a while back. While I was willing to pay whatever it took I still got shafted. The paint job was crap and to make matters worse they removed the letters on the boot to do the job and then stuck them back on crooked using super glue  When I returned the car the owner of the body shop looked at it and could not see any "real issue" with it!

I met Gerry a few times, he knows me auld fella, I forgot he did this. I was going to suggest Park Motors on the top of Manor St. Stoney Batter. I had intended to drop into them today, they have a van sized space...

For a BMW though I'd check out Gerry.
