Got a 03 MGTF with 62000 on the clock NCT 8/11 for €2700 and i have to say im well impressed. i know i will probably get abuse from some people on here but for that price its a bargain imo. Great craic for the summer, its a 1.6 and over the past month i have got an average of 39.4 mpg, cheap to tax and insure. I am aware of the issues with the head gasket but if you keep an eye on the coolent and dont drive the s**t out of it before it haswarmed up it should be ok.:D

Sounds like you got a little bargain alright, great fun for the summer. Im bored sh!tless with the corolla & i'd love to get myself an MX5 but im a bit too big (im a tad fat) to fit in one. They're a very small car.:mad:

dont burn bridges just yet m8. have you ever been sitting one ? they are way way bigger inside then they look outside! trust me on that!

i am not the smallest fella myself, and i fit perfectly! try to sit in one first, then you ill know for sure!

Can't go wrong at that price, even when they lose coolant it's generally a cheap and simple fix unless it's driven with the temp needle in the red.
