Exercises for fat belly/hips

I have lost over a stone in weight the last year. Unfortunately I am predisposed to put weight on around my belly/hips area.

I am wondering, is there any particular exercises I could do to help tone that area?

You cannot lose weight from perticular spots. Just keep exercising and doing eating well. It will eventually go if you continue. IT may take longer. First on last off ;)

If you want to tone up your stomach there are plenty of exercises you can do, but i'm not gym instructor.

No idea about the hip area. Sorry :(

Like above - you can't spot reduce fat. It will come off all over. People who put weight on first on the stomach are generally advised to cut back on the processed carbs and sugar so things like bread, crisps, sugar, branded cereals will do you no favours and will leave you fighting an uphill battle.

Cutting these out swapping them with things like meat, fish, lots of green veggies, nuts, seeds, good fats like avacados etc and good carbs like oats, ryvita etc would be much smarter for your goals.
