Trying to move; poverty "trap"

    We are in danger of losing options on new houses because of the costs involved.

    - deposit( getting it back from the exisiing landlord will doubless take time.

    - month's rent - I know; would have that anyway.

    - cost of moving

    - the fact that eg Rent Allowance and Household Benefits package take weeks to come through.

    After decades on disability and now on pension, saving of course has been impossible.

    No choice re moving; although the eviction notice is illegal, it is only a matter of months before the lease expires anyway.

    Is there no way through this? I know how many it affects.
