Just got pulled over today for the third time.

Was planning to change my insurance over to a different company when it expires and have now noticed that none of the online quote engines will quote for 6 points.

Does anybody have expierence getting a quote with 6 points and what are the loadings like.

    Thanks

Sorry i have no points, and cant help you there, but look on the bright side. some insurance companies will need the business these days just to turn a profit, go to Quinn see what they offer.

    Sorry no help otherwise

You don't get the points for an offence until you receive the letter saying so. The points are applied on the same date as the letter - not the date of the alleged offence.

I think the ins cos ask about pending points too, though? I'd say the only way is to ring around.

A guy in work has 6 points and it loaded €600 onto his policy, he was told with 4 points it makes no difference.
