    Parents have UPC box

They get the following message on some channels e.g. Sky Sports 3 and AtTheRaces

"...please check that all leads at the back of your digital box and tv are securely connected at both ends - error code (107)..."

They rang UPC - the advice was to "...leave it alone and it will come right in the next 24-48 hours....."

    that was 5 days ago...

    Classic....you couldn't make it up...:)

    All other channels work fine...

    Anyone else have similar issues.....

If you have a splitter on the connection point on the wall ensure that it is wired properly. I had this problem and it turned out that the splitter was not wired correctly (I had the input on the top and the two outputs on the bottom, but the input should be one of the bottom connections on the splitter).
