Im investigating a few ideas i have and am just wondering if anyone can supply me with names/web addresses of wholesalers of tech items eg. flash memory, sd cards, blank dvd/blue ray and general computer components.

    Irish company would be best.

Also is it necessary to have a VAT number to buy from a wholesaler?

Ive tried google but not really coming up with much.

    Thanks

Try these guys. I'm sure they do at least some of the stuff you're after.

And no, you don't need a vat number. The fact that you'd be buying bulk would be enough to assure them you're not an end user.

    BrokkenArrows,

These guys supply all large chain stores but i don't know if they deal with independent retailers as well
