Some of you guys n gals may be interested in knowing that Dublin airport will be operating both runway 28 and 34 simultaneously in the mornings due to traffic loads.

This will occur during good weather periods from approximately 6.30am to 8.30am.

    That is all.

Could they use 16 and 10 at the same time?

If only there were plans to build a second runway

Can we assume this will be 28 for take-offs and 34 for landings? To be this would make more sense form a ground movement/taxiing point of view.

I can remember seeing 3 EI A330 take off within 10 minutes of each other. RWY16 was in use but the EI flight to LAX needed the full length of 10. It was 16, then 10, then back to 16. Quite disconcerting to look and see a A330 coming from the 'wrong' direction!

Aha! So this is new! Had a chance to witness it on Friday morning. Looks really fun :) An Aer Lingus and a Regional taking off at the same time, or two Ryanairs - the end of Pier D is perfect for observation.

Would have taken out a camera to snap some pics, had I known that this is a fresh setup...
