    So what would be your recommendation be, buy the ProWin mag's or wait and hold off till and see what the G&P CO2 mag's are like?

    How do the ProWin mag's handle in cold weather. As I've heard they're much better then the AGM ones and don't suffer as much cool down.

    I need to do some further work on the magazine bolt catch to enable the bolt cycle freely. It sticks a little when charging, so that would also have an impact on cyclign in general.

    Anecdotally I also get the impression from reading gasguns.info that the VN mags are a little different to the m4 mags in that I've had to do some work as you've already read in order to address issues relating to the gun. I don't think you could really compare the VN mags with either green gas m4 mags or the upcoming G&P CO2 beasties for a couple of reasons;
    1. The Prowin VN mags are physically smaller and thus hold less gas
    2. The VN mags also consequently hold less rounds (30 rounds vs. 50 I think it is)
    3. Comparison of 134a/Green gas vs CO2 is a little difficult to make since no CO2 mags are currently available for the WA platform.

    What testing I've done so far has been minimal. I literally managed to get the bolt cycling (albeit sticking, so needs more work) and banged some Abbey 134a maintenance gas and a couple of rounds in just to see what would happen. The result did make me giggle and about jizz myself at the same time, so I am very keen to load a full mag and see what these mags can do on full auto.

    Dunno about cold weather as I've not had a chance. I'll bung one in the fridge later when I start getting down to serious testing and see what happens. As for cool down, from the very limited test I carried out, what I saw was non existant, but I did use very few rounds. When the mag vented (my own fault), it spewed out a lot* of gas indicating that these mags use gas a lot more efficiently than the stock AGM mags as well.

    So, would I get Prowin mags or wait? Inconclusive at the moment, but they do look promising and not a bad investment.

    I put in very little gas as it stands, certainly not a full mags-worth

    to quote Firekitten, that was f*cking loud :-D

    Have a few kinks to eliminate as I believe the gun itself is misbehaving
