Hey everyone. Thought this would be the best place to post in the hope that I may get a few answers. The question I would love to get answered is, has anyone camped out at Brittas Bay before and did you have any trouble while camping there? Its just that myself and 5 friends have planned to go camping and we picked Brittas Bay as its a handy enough location. We are going paintballing the day after, so we decided to make a weekend out of it. If there is any other good camping spots in the general location, I would love to hear from you.

    thanks :)

a lot of private houses around and since the car park is a monitored one the attendant may get suspicious when there are still car there when it closes or in the morning before it opens. The sheer number of people down there at this time of year makes it more likely someone will complain to you or the council about it.

Isn't there private land that will allow you to pitch a tent (for a nominal fee) further away (south) of the village? We used to camp there in the dunes, but that was over 23 years ago. Things might have changed!

Was down here a week and a half ago..17 girls 16 lads..Stayed on the beach for the day pitched our tents in the sand dune around 5 while people were still there.Needless to say we were noisy as hell and age ranged from 16-19 so a lot of drinking and shouting going on.Nobody disturbed us at all.The walk to the beac when you get of the bus is long when you have tents and alcohol and food with ya.The next morning when we were leaving a lady even offered to take a few of the girls and our bags in her van!!Great night was had id definitely recommend it but just keep te noise down if ya can..And try to avoid temptation, tere is a swimming pool in a garden just down from the dune we were in and few of the lads thought it would be a good idea to go skinny dipping!!!!!!!!!Good luck with that>>>>>>
