Can't wait for this one should be a cracking game, I'm liking the look of overs at 4/5 both sides are suspect at the back but great going forward so there should be plenty of goals

Any other bets that are of interest ?

Lost big on the two games today, time to commit the cardinal sin and chase my money!!

25/1 on 3-2 Arg with PP, need to check others first but worth a few bob.

Also like Heinze to be booked @15/8 and Arg to score 2 or more at 11/10.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Kod-box

surprised it took this long for a topic to arise lol

i have the Argies to win it outright so i may just leave the betting on this game off, maybe a tenner on Tevez 1st goal or Higuain, Messi will be marked out of it again no doubt.

Evens on overs looks like great value tbh.

I have germany to qualify for the next round and spain to beat paraguay in 90 mins. 25 returns about 80 :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,053 ✭✭✭Gracelessly Tom

I've gone on a double - Arg to score 2 or more and Spain to score 2 or more. Pays just over 2/1. Spain should be a cert and fancy the attacking Argies to get 2......... Come on the goalfests!!!:D

I have a feeling that Argentina will end up in similar circumstances to Brazil in this game. I think the Germans could get under their skin and there could be a bit of an Argentine "self destruct button" scenario. Big questions over their temperament. I'm sticking my small bet on

    Germany to qualify @ 11/10
    Spain -1 @ 6/4

    Double
    4.2/1

after going big on brazil today im thinking the same thing

ghana also paid germany a huge compliment
id have fancied brazil to beat argentina myself and
i think the germans would beat holland so to see
the germans at 9/4 tomorrow is a welcoming sight.

we all know what paraguays tactics will be tomorrow
tis a matter of how long they can hold on without conceding.
should be pretty onesided in terms of attacking anyway

anyone of ye card market experts have odds for this?

i reckon there'll be alot of cards, maybe 1 or 2 red's going on history, Maradonna prob get sent off lol

100 on over 2.5 goals at evens.
50 on Messi to score anytime @ 2.30.

Think it's Messi's time to score and that he's finally up against a defense that suits his style of play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,605 ✭✭✭Fizman

Was too tempted so I just put silly money on over 2.5 goals. Oh well, here's to watching the game through my fingers!

had a nibble @ hattrick scored @ 26/1 on betfair there now

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Before yesterday even I was in 2 minds over this. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Germany win today.

Brazil yesterday was a true right kick to the balls so I'm playing it a tad safe. in this match. Argentina have players all over who can lose the head at anytime. Both defence are suspect.

Over 2.5's @ evens was too tempting for me as well. Stuck 100 euro on it.

Leaving anything else to live betting if I have to.

Has anyone had a look at the "To Be Booked" market ? Who will be up against Messi ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 522 ✭✭✭ValueSeeker

Leo Messi Man of The Match @ 11/4 (Bluesquare)

Like most I fancy a very open game and the over 2.5 goals is very appealing and with the German style of play, Messi will love the extra space he will find himself in and this could be the game where he really turns it on and If Argentina progress, I'd expect him to be the key man.

Full Betting Preview available for anyone interested

Who knows where Messi will start? ;) Especially considering his drifting nature. Probably he'll target the German LB whoever that maybe.

If I had to for bookings today which I'm not because I've been burned badly by ... Mascherano, Henize, Khedira and Badstuber/Boetang are the guys I'd be look at for a booking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 522 ✭✭✭ValueSeeker

Yep, Mascherano looks the value in the "To Be Booked" market @ 7/4 on skybet considering the pacey Ozil will be playing a lot of the game in his territory.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 278 ✭✭ICE HOUSE

I think a double on over 2.5 for both todays games is a decent bet.
But meself im staying away for a while.
    I got badly burnt yesterday.:(

5.00: Higuain 1st scorer @ 5/1. Hopefully hel continue on his rich vein of goal scoring up against a crap German defence

After the nightmare that was yesterday, am trying to be carefull but also get back some of my losses.

Was thinking of a double of Over 2.5goals (evens) in this match & Villa to score Anytime (10/11) , 20 euro returns 75 euro.
    Any opinions?

    Great value that.

d-gal just to let u know pp are being very sneaky wit the wording of the corners and card index double.
its worded more than 60 as to the 60 or more in the card index market.

ita a con if u ask me l had an argument with them last week.

LOL, i wanted to do that bet in my double but i couldn't select the Wincast on Paddys so i just went with the Villa anytime. I just joined this moring, to get the free matched bet, so its all a bit new to me.

Would love to see the Germans qualify, can't call this match. Just want a load of goals!! And Podolski to get one of them!!:D

    Nope
    Argentina to win the match
    11 or more corners
Card Index: 60 points or more @ 12/1

Just saw this in PP, stuck a tenner on it..

Higuain or Klose to score 1st @ 3/1

Last throw of the dice 175 onmore than 2.5. PLEASE come in.

    Scorecast

    Higuain & Germany 3-2 225/1

Podolski to score 2 or more 22/1.

I think Argie defence is suspect to attacks and today could see Podolski rip them apart...fingers crossed ;)

man I feel unlucky. I stuck a big amount of money on Messi to be top Barcelona scorer at 8/11 ( Villa not included). Really thought it could not go wrong. wouldnt have been too bad if no one had scored but of all people Marguez scores one, would have got most my money back. I think he was the only barca player to score a goal so far. Messi had so many close attempts and shots
