Has anyone been to the Omniplex during the evening? Went on Wednesday night and all the ticket desks were closed saying you could buy your ticket at the shop.

It was mayhem, there wasnt any staff on the floor (only behind the shop), the queue was down past the doors towards the second part of the cinema. Couldnt be bothered waiting but used the card machines just inside the door, they were working (thank god).

So thought there would be someone inside the door of the screen we were going into to check our tickets, no staff here either, neither did any come in prior to the start of the movie. So anyone could have mosied on in and got a free movie.

Anyone know what was going on? Are they short on staff?

Was the same during the week, however a guy came into the screen and asked to see our tickets. Seems to be less staff there alright.

Seems to be standard practice during the week, experienced it recently but it was a quite night so things flowed smoothly.
