Woohoo! Good luck, wind looks to be at your back from the SW for the next two days.

    All done and dusted :)

Left Cobh at 0630 on yesterday morning went into Carrigtwohill and uphill towards Leamlara. This brought me out on the old Cork - Dublin road just outside Rathcormac. Carried on up through Fermoy and had a short 10 min stop in Mitchelstown. The rain arrived but was light enough.

Carried on up to Cashel where i had another 15 min break and hit the road again going through Durrow bringing me into Abbeyleix. Had a quick cup of coffee and scone to tide me over and diod the last 7k to the Maldron hotel next to the motorway.

This morning left the hotel at 0600 passing through Portalrington and into Clonbollgue where i took 5 mins. Edenderry and Enfield were also passed through. Then hit the back roads passing over the two motorways bringing me into Duleek, then was the final spin into Drogheda.

Wind for the two days was more or less behind me which helped a lot.

Average speed was 30kph and climbs were very few and far apart.

Works out at about 9hrs 30mins

Very enjoyable 2 days but found the second day very tough.

Can tick this one off the list :D

Prevailing wind tends to be in that direction. Well done and that is impressively fast moving speed for the distance.
