Hi ,I'm at a loss at the moment after setting up a second monitor (TV).

Basically I can't clone my desktop to the tv ,because the resolutions don't mix.

My question or problem is ,can I get firefox to automatically open in the extended monitor ?
I've tried to copy the firefox shortcut to the extended monitor ,but firefox still opens on the main screen:(

Any help would be appreciated ,
    Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that you'd have to open it first, then drag the window to the second monitor

I've no problem with that ,it's when my tv is on and I've nothing on the screen ,I have to use my monitor to call up any programs and drag them across.

I was hoping someone would know a way of adding firefox to the right click menu ,on the extended monitor.
So when I have my pointer on the tv screen ,I can somehow call up firefox by right clicking.

I'm using a logitech bluetooth media keyboard and there isn't any home button that I can program ,so whatever I do it will either be clicking on a shortcut or choosing from a menu box.

If you set the external as your Primary monitor then most apps will open in the centre of it by default. The rest remember where they were last time.

    Good man yourself ,
That seems to get me out of the pickle alright. I dragged the taskbar over from the tv to the monitor ,so I can still use the pc as normal.
I can use internet explorer on the pc and firefox on tv or vice/versa.

    Thanks for that.
