    Lasagne
    Pasta with sauce

you have not mentioned your goals?

    Are you male or female?

    Your height and weight?

What training you do besides the GAA and frequency?

Basically just want to last the last few pounds from the belly and that and get more toned.
I am male, 17 and I am 6ft and around 10 and a half stone.
I lift weights twice a week at home

let me get this straight - you are 6ft and 10st 7lbs.

You are massively UNDERWEIGHT. Get bloody stronger NOT more toned. You need some serious weight gain IMO and i really hope you take this the right way as you really need to focus on getting bigger and just eating way more.

Hit the weights hard 4 days per week and increase it week on week when possible

I know I am not the strongest in the world and that is why I started lifting weights this year.
My plan is to lose fat first and then focus more on building muscle after that

If you gain muscle you'll have less bodyfat as a percentage of a whole. Guys like yourself who have fat to loose need to actually have some muscle underneath to make it worthwhile, otherwise you'll just end up lighter and weaker.

I think what Transform was pretty much getting at it is that at 6ft and 10st 7 you dont have any fat to get rid off and should be focusing on gaining weight

Ok, I wil admit that I am no expert on weights etc
Would I be better served by focusing more on building muscle and in the process losing weight?

you would be better off posting up what you are currently doing training wise first.

Yes get bigger and stronger if you feel that would be good for you but if you want to stay slim (which i think is wayyy to slim at your height) then maybe thats right for you

The guy is only 17, six feet tall - most likely he has taken a stretch or two recently. I wouldn't exactly call him massively UNDERWEIGHT at this point in his life, and I don't think he needs to get into a panic about piling on the pounds quickly - his body will catch up with his new height in it's own time.

where have i said to be in a massive rush to 'pile' on the pounds?

I also mentioned that if he is happy at that weight then thats good for him.

finally, he stated he wanted to drop some fat and again i would contend that at 17yrs of age he should not worry about dropping fat especially at his height and weight.

    all the best
