iboods deal is really good today - if you have a htpc - such as a revo etc.

    http://www.ibood.com/ie/en

Normal price is at least twice that.

Decent price and looks great and all but it would be better if the keyboard had a built in mouse. Either a roller ball or touch pad.

From the reviews the general consensus seems to be that this is one of the top solutions out there (that and the lenovo mini) - if you are using a pc with a tv.

The remote functions as an air mouse as well ! (they are the same people that do the technology for the wii remote)

This is the best price I've seen by a long shot.

Not too familiar with HTPC keyboards.. but I have this which seems like a good alternative.

I was looking at that - but the gyration one will control your tv,satellite, dvd etc as well - which is a big plus as far as I'm concerned

There's a thread on the various ones

I haven't seen it for anywhere less that 100 euros anywhere else.

Thats the one I have. Its grand for using infrequently as the RF connection is a bit temperamental so you have to have it laying a certain way for it to work. The key positions are a bit odd but thats being very niggley. Still, it does the job and is cheap. As its for a HTPC, I only need to use it monthly or so. The media center remote is whats used daily.

Actually having looked at the video on the other thread for this remote, that is deadly!

I didn't notice that the remote had a built in mouse. Very cool and now I'm tempted!

Amazon reviews on the Gyrator one here: http://www.amazon.com/Gyration-GYR41...p_ob_e_title_2

Really tempted as it's not only a HTPC remote, but also a all-in-one for replacing other remotes..!

And it's RF - so works with PS3 as well.

Okay, I think I have convinced myself on this one.

I work for a home entertainment company and these are (were, they're being discontinued) our standard issue - simply nothing better for controlling media center from your sofa and we've tried everything - at this price they're half the trade price so this is an extremly good bargain - as has been said they also can used to program the tv, dvd, amp etc.
The universal remote however is not perfect, sometimes it can loose it settings and has to be reprogrammed and the cross key mapping from standard remotes to this is awkward as some keys are dedicated to one input only - thats it's only weakness though - it's rf and mouse controlling are second to none and the mini keyboard is excellent.
