Quarter Finals bet

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to share my quarter finals bet with you lads to see what ye think. Living in the states and haven't been able to check all the odds so correct me if im wrong - Basing my odds off the Paddy Mobile site. And, as always, this is NOT a sure thing but I think it has a good chance.

Anyway, if you look at the history of the WC Quarter finals, you can see that over the years that there has been quarter finals - there used to be a 2 group stages system - there has never been a time where at least one game of the qf's has not gone to penos.

According to my odds, every team is 10-1 to win on penos. So, with a 10 euro stake thats 80 euro and if one comes in, a 110 euro return.

My personal approach will be to put 20 down tomorrow and if i get a winner in the first game get out for a 90 euro profit, if not go onto the next game.

Hope I'm not jinxing history with this.

Up until this year the host nation has always got out of the group aswell, South Africa didn't, history means nothing imo, although the 10/1in the 2 games tomorrow might hold value.

Why only look at quarter finals? Surely all the knockout matches should be similar long term. That would be how the bookies come up with the odds anyway.
