According to the Irish Independent (Monday 28 June) RTÉ has made revised proposals to the Department of Communications that would mean that parts of the west coast will not be able to receive DTT because RTÉ wants to cut the number to transmitters from 150 to 50.

RTÉ is the national public service broadcaster. Surely the Government won't let RTÉ get away with this.
