    Hi,

I saw your post, I'm afraid I used to work there and left after 6 months as a Financial Consultant, I left a job I was in for 8 years and it was the worst move I ever made, the pressure and stress they put you under for sales is unreal. If you are leaving a job to go work there, I wouldnt do it, however if you are out of work then go for it, nothing to loose.

    But be warned.

when you say telesales, are you going to be one of those guys who rings people up trying to get them to make an appointment with a financial adviser? If so, these jobs are not long-term. Most people stick them for less than a year.

Make sure you know a bit about the company (it's part of Irish Life and Permanent! get some brownie points by knowing that), the products it offers (pension/avcs, protection and insurance) and the type of clients it goes for (mainly public sector employees)
